Bahrain's Ministry of Finance and Bahrain Business Machines (BBM) announced the successful migration of the ministry's Financial Management Information System (FMIS) infrastructure using the latest IBM platforms.
FMIS is a set of financial applications which the ministry can utilise to record and report the financial and budgetary affairs of the government.
Ismail Abdulnabi Al Marhoon, assistant undersecretary for resources and information, Ministry of Finance, said that the move came within the keenness of the ministry to constantly upgrade the financial information system.
