Alba chief medical officer Dr Rana Al Ammadi, paid tribute to the nursing staff at the company's on-site medical centre at a celebration to mark World Nursing Day.
Acknowledging that nurses play a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of all Alba employees, Dr Al Ammadi said: "We are firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards for our employees that enable Alba to retain its position as one of the pioneering companies in the world of aluminium smelters."
The celebration was held under the theme 'Nursing Innovation' and those attending included general manager (administration) Wajd Salah Al Madani, human resources manager Shaikh Bader bin Rashid Al Khalifa and public relations manager Dr Khalid Jassim Bomtaia.
