Bahraini artist Zuhair Al Saeed will showcase his collection, When Colours Speak, his first solo exhibition at the Casa dell'Arte Gallery in Zinj on June 6.
The exhibition highlights his relationship and experience through different shades of colours and his work is highly influenced by the impression abstract school.
Zuhari, 29 from Ma'ameer, developed his love for painting at a very young age from his visits to the ocean and fishing trips.
He said: "My biggest inspiration is nature which inspired me to paint.
"After high school I joined the Bahrain University where I completed a five-year degree course in Education of Art."
With plans to further enhance his talents and creativity, Zuhair wishes to study further, perhaps with a doctorate degree from Lebanon.
In all of 15 years of his career as an artist, he has participated in various national and international art exhibitions including the annual plastic art organised by the ministry of culture information and exhibitions at the Bahrain University alongside Geneva, Egypt, Zurich, Iran and the UAE.
He has also won several awards and appreciation certificates from various destinations including Zurich, Geneva, Egypt and the UAE.
Some of his work is displayed at the Alsafreya palace, the UN office in Geneva, Bahrain National Museum and the Supreme Council For Women Higher Council.
Zuhair's art can also be seen in the private collections of the Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
He will also begin preparing for an art exhibition to be held in Australia later this year.
