The Crown Prince's International Scholarship Programme's scholars for the year have been announced.
There are six students from government schools - Ali Mohammed Baqeri from Hamad Town Boys School, Fatema Mahmood Aseeri from Muharrraq Intermediate and Secondary Girls School, Kawthar Mohammed Al Jufairi from Manama Girls School, Mohammed Isa Ali Janahi from Al Hedaya Al Khalifa School, Noor Talal Mufeez from Khawla Girls School and Qassim Hameed Al Mansoor from Ahmed Al Omran School.
Private school students who have received the award are Alyaa Fouad Alkhadhar from Modern Knowledge Schools, Khaled Waleed Al Khaja from St Christopher's School, Mariam Ahmed Alireza from Ibn Khuldoon National School and Sharif Ebrahim Sharif Moosa from Bahrain Bayan School.
The scholars will be off to the US and UK to attain undergraduate degrees from prestigious universities in September.
