Studio Ceramics in Budaiya is introducing a new Saturday morning club - the Groovy Gecko Club, for children between six and 11, on September 26 from 10am to 1pm. The Indian Ladies Association is hosting its Annual Dandiya Night on October 1 at the Diplomat Radisson Hotel in Manama. Guests will be entertained with music by Rajesh Iyer and Kavita Rajvansh from Mumbai. The Dandiya tradition hails from the West Indian state of Gujarat where people in large numbers dance the night away forming moving circles holding decorated wooden sticks.
