The Indian Ladies Association is hosting its Annual Dandiya Night on October 1 at the Diplomat Radisson Hotel in Manama. Guests will be entertained with music by Rajesh Iyer and Kavita Rajvansh from Mumbai. The Dandiya tradition hails from the West Indian state of Gujarat where people in large numbers dance the night away forming moving circles holding decorated wooden sticks.
