Designed with 'hotel-style' living in mind, two young engineers set forth and created the ideal home for a modern family in Janabiyah.

Situated behind the University College of Bahrain and Saar Cinema this five-bedroom dwelling boasts a contemporary design in which the finishing touch is all-important.

Blending tiles, parquet flooring and solid wood, the spacious villa has a very warm and inviting feel with earthy tones and metallic surfaces.

Visitors are first greeted by a cosy reception area upon entering, followed by a large living area. There is also a guest bedroom with bay windows and a bathroom with a lovely vanity set.

The fully-fitted kitchen is kitted out with the latest 'look', otherwise known as the Ferrari kitchen. A useful breakfast bar stands neatly in the room and there is also plenty of space for a dining table.

The beauty of this villa is that the doors in the kitchen, living room and reception area can be removed so can create your own open plan area leading to the luxurious private pool in the back. Large open spaces, water features and functionality have played very important roles in the design of this home.

The first floor includes four grand rooms, French windows, a terrace and an abundance of natural light. The master bedroom is majestic in style consisting of a built-in wardrobe, separate dressing area, his and her sinks in the ensuite bathroom, with standing rain showers and a sizeable tub.

The children's rooms also include built-in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms, but each is themed differently. The fourth room had been converted into a kid's playroom.

The maid's quarters and laundry facilities are located on the second floor along with access to the roof top where residents can enjoy partial sea views.

The front of the villa has a seating area for guests and is tiled and the back has a sizable garden, a bathroom and store room.

The swimming pool boasts blue and gold plated tiles, coloured lighting fixtures and a water fountain that can be controlled from the pump room.

The bathroom had been designed with a particular resort in mind with candles, dim lighting and no roof. There is also a standing rain shower outside to wash off the chlorine after taking a dip.

A small lounge area is located outside right behind the reception room.

There is also a double car park with electronic garage doors and enough parking for visitors on the grounds nearby.
