Wednesday (Oct 28) Film - Six Days, Seven Nights on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Quinn Harris (Harrison Ford) is a rugged aviator living an uncomplicated existence in Paradise. His life is just the way he likes it until he meets Robin Monroe (Anne Heche), a sharp, driven, magazine editor from New York on holiday with her new fiancŽ Frank. When an unexpected editorial deadline requires Robin to be in Tahiti, she bribes Quinn to fly her there. Forced down in a storm, their plane crashes and now, stranded together on a deserted isle, Quinn and Robin quickly discover all the perils of paradise.

A team of scientists decides they must gas to death a young girl Sil (Natasha Henstridge) because she is the result of an experiment in which human DNA was mixed with that of an alien race. But Sil escapes. This prompts Fitch (Ben Kingsley), the head scientist, to gather a team to track the child down. Unfortunately, they may have trouble recognising their prey, because Sil has turned herself into a lethal, sexy, adult woman ... whose goal is to procreate as soon as possible. The fetching mutant embarks on a number of sexual encounters with gruesome results for her partners.

Film - Meet the Spartans on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

From the writers of Scary Movie and Date Movie comes this laugh-out-loud parody of sword-and-sandal epics. When Sparta's Leonidas (Sean Maguire) learns that Persia's King Xerxes (Ken Davitian) plans to invade his homeland, he recruits 13 beefy warriors to defend their nation. While setting their sights on the King, the brave titans also target such pop-culture icons as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and American Idol and take potshots at blockbusters like 300, Happy Feet and Casino Royale.

SATURDAY (Oct 31)

Film - Halloween: H20 on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Now the headmistress of a private school, Laurie Strode (Jamie Curtis) is still struggling with the horrifying, 20-year-old memories of the maniacal killer Michael Myers ... when he suddenly reappears with a vengeance! And this Halloween, his terror will strike a whole new generation! Laurie's rebellious son (Josh Hartnett), his girlfriend (Michelle Williams), and the school security guard (LL CooL J) will become Michael's newest victims unless Laurie can conquer her greatest fears and put evil in its place once and for all!

SUNDAY (Nov 1)

Film - The Comebacks on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

From the producers of Wedding Crashers, comes the outrageous comedy, The Comebacks. Spoofing countless inspirational sports movies, the film stars David Koechner (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) as Lambeau Fields (David Koechner), an incompetent football coach who suffers from consistent bad luck. With encouragement from fellow coach Freddie Wiseman (Carl Weathers), Lambeau takes on a college football team with some of the least desirable players imaginable.

MONDAY (Nov 2)

Film - Smother on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Nothing is going right for Noah Cooper (Dax Shepard), who has just been fired from his job as sports therapist. He goes home looking for comfort from his wife Clare (Liv Tyler), but instead finds a houseguest, her screenwriter cousin Myron Stubbs (Mike White). Things get much worse, however, when his overbearing mother Marilyn (Diane Keaton) lands on their doorstep needing somewhere to stay. Now Noah has to find a way to manage all his pressures: finding a job, a wife desperately wanting a baby and a mother who won't quit smothering.

TUESDAY (Nov 3)

Film - Alien on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is frozen in suspended animation as her ship crashes on a prison planet. When awakened by the prison's staff, she discovers that she is the sole survivor of her crew. Trapped on a barren planet with convicts and no weapons of any kind, Ripley soon realises that an alien was also on the ship and has survived. As the savage creature begins to massacre inmates, Ripley bands together with the remaining prisoners.
