FOOTY fans too busy to settle down in front of a screen for Saturday's big match between Bahrain and New Zealand should still be able to catch all the action ... on their mobile phone!

SOL Trading Company's popular CTV mobile phones have been flying off the shelves after being featured in the pages of GulfWeekly and staff say soccer fans have now caused another surge of interest.

The wonder device provides users with the chance to catch all the action on their mobile phone and also enjoy instant replays with its free television feature.

Country manager Samir Chavan said: "The phone covers all the local, free-to-air channels.

"Those interested in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifier can watch it anywhere they go and anytime and not worry about missing the game."

He also explained that one of the major functions of the phone is an option of recording a match for those who have no time to watch it live.

He said: "The phone can accommodate up to 2GB data and also comes with two SIM cards."

The company is also planning to launch eight, 16 and 32GB versions in the future to help store more television recordings.

The phone is designed in the UK and manufactured in China and is available at the company's outlet in the GOSI Complex on Exhibition Avenue. It comes with a 15-month international warranty as well as an International Mobile Equipment Identity or IMEI and also comes with a touch screen version.

Other features of the CTV include Arabic and English key pads, radio, a camera, a standby and dual Bluetooth facility as well as MP3 and MP4 players.

It also includes MSN messenger service allowing live chats with family, friends and colleagues.

By the year-end the company also plans to launch seven mobile phones. The CTV is priced at BD33 and an extra BD8 for the touch screen version.
