The event, with more than BD2,000 prize money up for grabs, features five categories -men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
A crowd of more than 5,000 spectators are expected to attend the matches, to be officiated by Anil Singh of India and Iran's deputy referee Zahra Rahmaty.
Tournament director C M Junith said the championship is being organised in association with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation.
This tournament is approved by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia Confederation (BAC) as world-ranking points are awarded to the players.
Entries to the tournament, fixtures and the breakdown of prize money are all governed and controlled by BWF and BAC.
Details were announced at a press conference chaired by club president P K Paul and attended by general secretary K M Cherian, badminton secretary Rajesh Achath, tournament director C M Junith, assistant tournament director Anand Bose and Bahrain Badminton development manager Jaffer Ebrahim.
The official logo was also unveiled during the meeting by Paul along with the executive committee members and the tournament officials.
