AMERICAN favourite Pizza Inn has opened its first Bahrain outlet at the Oasis Mall in Riffa.
Yaqoob Al Awadhi, founder & CEO of Buena Vista Group of Companies, who has brought the brand into the region, said: "It enjoys a legacy for over half a century and we are looking forward to a successful growth of the concept in this region.
"It's an exciting moment in our business as we are confident the introduction of Pizza Inn will have mass appeal for pizza lovers."
The outlet was opened by Nidhal Al Aujan, CEO of Bahrain Development Bank (BDB). He said: "BDB strives to support Buena Vista Food's ambitious plans for Bahrain and the region as well as providing relevant business advisory support services to ensure its success as another Bahraini entrepreneurial story."
Boasting a tagline 'Love Life, Love Pizza', the outlet's products include different types of crusts such as original, thin, Italian, New York pan or stuffed crust. There is also a range of freshly-cooked Italian pastas, salads, desserts and beverages.
The brand's sub franchisee partner is United Food Company. CEO Khushru Mistry said: "We are confident that our fresh taste and menu variety of signature pizzas like Chicken Tandoori, Pizza Inn Special, Veggie Fresh, Chicken Fajita, Fresh Salads, Zesty Pasta as well as appetisers like garlic cheese bread, chicken wings, submarine sandwiches and desserts cinnamon Stromboli and apple Pizzerts will draw attention from all sections of Bahrain society."
Pizza Inn, headquartered in Dallas, US, opened their first outlet in 1958 and today operates nearly 400 restaurants world-wide, with plans to continue expanding globally.
