Sunset Hills, a mixed-use development and one of the components of Al Areen master plan south of Bahrain, this week announced that the project is underway and on time with 80 per cent of construction work completed.
Ahmed Habib, head of sales and leasing - Sunset Hills, said: "Sunset Hills is going as per plan and schedule with the new design. With more than 80 per cent of the construction completed, we are delivering as promised to our investors and unit owners."
When it is complete, Sunset Hills will house 300 properties, including villas, town houses and luxury apartments. So far, half the project has been sold.
In an area that has been master-planned by the Government of Bahrain, and with a strategic location near the main planned transportation lines - including a ring road - that are currently under development, residents of Sunset Hills will be able to enjoy easy accessibility as well as what the developers describe as 'a life-friendly environment'.
"Residents will be able to enjoy uninterrupted views of Bahrain's stunning sunset from their homes," a spokesman added.
Commercial outlets will also be available both in Sunset Hills and the Al Areen area at large.
Nearby attractions, including the Wildlife Park, Water Park, Equestrian City, Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort and the Bahrain International Circuit, are just minutes away from the development.
In addition, the development is within easy reach of the University of Bahrain and lies only four kilometres away from Al Jazayer beach.
Sunset Hills is one of Abu Dhabi Investment House's projects in addition to Al Areen Homes located within Al Areen Development.
Al Areen Homes is a luxurious development offering modern villas and a model home is available for viewing. Al Areen Homes are also now available for leasing through the recently-appointed leasing company, Remax.
