WEDNESDAY (April 21) Film - The Women on Star Movies at 8.30pm. This movie chronicles the romances and relationships of a close-knit group of female friends. Holding this clique together is Mary (Meg Ryan), a happily married housewife. But when she learns that her husband is having an affair with a gold-digging shop assistant (Eva Mendes), Mary is forced to reassess her life. Seeking support from her friends, she soon discovers that her pals are dealing with their own relationship issues. Mary embarks on a long journey of self discovery.

THURSDAY (April22) Film - Speed on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Officer Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves) is an LA Bomb Squad specialist who's on the hunt for Howard Payne (Dennis Hopper), an elusive terrorist. Payne hardwires a city bus with a bomb that will detonate if the bus drops below 50 MPH. The passengers have to rely on the driving skills of Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock), a civilian who reluctantly takes over the wheel while taking instructions from Jack.

FRIDAY (April 23)

Film - Angels & Demons on ShowMovies at 10pm.

Tom Hanks reprises his role as religious expert Robert Langdon who discovers the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati - the most powerful underground organisation of all time - he also faces a deadly threat to the existence of their most despised enemy, the Catholic Church. Langdown races to avert a global disaster.

SATURDAY (April 24)

Documentary - Word of Mouth: Tuscany on NGA at 6pm.

Josimar heads to a lost village in the heart of Tuscany and goes hunting with dogs for truffles, a vital ingredient for his next meal. Josimar also visits the magnificent "Enoteca Pinchiorri" (3 Michelin stars), Italy's most famous wine cellar, known for having one of the most complete and expensive wine menus in the world. There, our host tries the classiest dishes available on the menu, talks to chef Annie Feolde about the Italian and French gastronomic traditions and, finally, takes a walk through the impressive wine cellar.

SUNDAY (April 25) Film - Nothing to Lose on Star Movies at 8 30pm.

Life couldn't get any worse for Nick Beam (Tim Robbins) who believes his wife is having an affair with his boss. On the verge of a nervous breakdown, he's robbed at gunpoint by a fast-talking thief named T. Paul (Martin Lawrence). With nothing to lose, Nick turns the tables on his mugger, taking him hostage and embarking on a wild road trip. An unlikely friendship gradually unfolds between this offbeat pair.

MONDAY (April 26) Film - Watching the Detectives on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Neil (Cillian Murphy) is a self-proclaimed film geek and owner of a video store. Neil's lack of a social life has not been good for his relationships with women until he meets Violet (Lucy Liu), a sexy and adventurous woman who is immediately taken with him. But he soon decides Violet may be a bit too adventurous. Neil is content to get his excitement from watching movies but he realises she would rather throw herself into thrilling situations rather than observe them from a distance.

TUESDAY (April 27)

Film - Hellhounds on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In ancient Greece, the royal wedding between Greek warrior Kleitos (Scott Elrod) and Demetria (Amanda Brooks) goes awry when the beautiful princess bride is captured and brought to Hell by Hades (Oltin Hurezeanu). With Demetria imprisoned in the underworld, Kleitos sets off on an epic and dangerous mission to rescue her. But first he must face the hounds of hell, ruthless creatures that follow their cruel master's every command.
