There will be five qualifying rounds and two weekly winners will be selected to compete on the final round on May 27. The Batelco Indo-Bahrain International Friendship Volleyball Tournament will take place at the Indian Club court in Manama with six teams in the fray. The competition is being organised by Frontline Marketing Consultancy in association with the Indian Club. The winners of the league-cum-knockout tournament will be awarded the Batelco Sim Sim Cup and a $1,000 cash prize. The runners-up will be presented with the Bahrain Air Cup and a cash prize of $500 as well as attractive prizes to best player in each match, player of the tournament and best spiker. Five teams from Bahrain and one from Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia are taking part in the tournament. National and international players from India will be representing different teams, and they include Indian national team captain Sreekant.
