GULF Air, Bahrain's national carrier, has appointed Bahraini Maher Salman Al Musallam as deputy chief executive officer.

A seasoned aviation professional, Mr Al Musallam brings a wealth of experience to Gulf Air, gained from a career spanning 35 years in the Royal Bahraini Air Force.

Alba

ALBA chief executive Laurent Schmitt announced the appointment of Bahraini Ali Hassan Ahmed Al Baqali as the new manager of procurement and warehousing.

Mr Al Baqali has been with Alba for more than a decade and has held responsible positions in the department of materials management.

Travelport

TRAVELPORT, a distribution system providers, announced a new addition to its management team in the Middle East.

Bahraini Ali Al Balooshi has joined the group as a regional business development manager, covering the GDS provider's distributor and operator markets in the Middle East, Pakistan and Turkey.
