Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) unveiled its new brand identity.
Senior KHCB officials, stakeholders, investors, strategic partners and employees were present at a ceremony at the head office of the bank located in Bahrain Financial Harbour where the new logo and related branding materials were unveiled.
Designed to reflect the wave of change, the logo retains key elements of the earlier design. It is simple yet elegant, with a vibrant icon that is in keeping with the bank's new vitality and dynamism. Its corporate red and blue colours have been fashioned into two sleek sails that pioneer paths through new waters, signifying the new momentum.
KHCB chairman Dr Fuad Al Omar said: "For us the new brand marks a watershed, a transformation in keeping with the changing times. The sails of the new logo signify the spirit of change that will take us into the exciting future.
"We hope to come up with a range of retail focused banking and investment products based on sound market knowledge and financial expertise."
Emphasising the strong asset value of the new brand identity and its focus on change, KHCB CEO Ebrahim H. Ebrahim, said: "We see a bright and exceedingly open-ended future for ourselves. That's exactly what the new logo signifies. It is the keystone of our corporate identity, an expression of our personality and the basic values we stand for. The image it creates is of strength and flexibility, of having an open mind and the vision to venture onto new paths.
"We truly believe we will live up to the promise of the new logo by fashioning a distinct identity for the bank and diversifying into other business segments."
