WEDNESDAY (May 19) Series - Lie to Me on America Plus at 8pm

This critically-acclaimed series starring Oscar nominee Tim Roth returns with an intriguing second series, with new lies and life-changing situations for The Lightman Group as they encounter new cases. The compelling drama series is inspired by the scientific discoveries of a real-life psychologist who can read clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose the truth and lies in criminal investigations.

THURSDAY (May 20)

Film - Duplicity on Super Movies at 9pm

The movie stars Clive Owen, Julia Roberts and Paul Giamatti and is directed by Tony Gilroy. Oscar-winner Roberts and Owen star as two sexy spies-turned-corporate operatives in the midst of a clandestine love affair. When they find themselves on either side of an all-out corporate war, they'll put everything on the line to remain one double-cross ahead in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse. The toughest part of the job is deciding how much to trust the one you love.

FRIDAY (May 21)

Series - E! True Hollywood Stories on Fox Movies at 6pm

This documentary series deals with famous Hollywood celebrities, movies, TV shows and well-known public figures. Among the topics covered on the programme include retellings of Hollywood secrets, show-biz scandals, celebrity murders and mysteries, and 'where-are-they-now?' investigations of former child stars. It features in-depth interviews, actual courtroom footage, and dramatic re-enactments.

SATURDAY (May 22)

Series - Saturday Kitchen on BBC Lifestyle at noon

Presented by celebrity chef James Martin, Saturday Kitchen is an entertaining master class in how to produce good, honest food. James provides some great recipes, and is joined by a host of guest chefs who each bring their own take on some classic and tasty dishes. In this set of brand new episodes, James rustles up a 'food heaven or food hell' for another batch of celebrity guests. Will he offer a new take on their favourite dish or rise to the challenge and make their most hated ingredient palatable? Each guest chef also takes part in the omelette challenge, in which they compete gamely to make a plain omelette in the fastest time.

SUNDAY (May 23)

Film - Annapolis on Fox Movies at 11pm

After insisting 34 times with his congressman, the shipyard welder and amateurish boxer Jake Huard joins the US Naval Academy. Having difficulties in the classes and suffering prejudice in his relationship with his superior Cole, he has the support of his roommate and his superiors Ali and Lt Commander Burton. Jake studies hard and trains for an internal boxing competition, in an unfair environment. The movie stars James Franco, Macka Foley, Jim Parrack and Donnie Wahlberg.

MONDAY (May 24)

Documentary - Temple Grandin on Showmovies at 8pm

"I'm not like other people. I think in pictures" - Temple Grandin. She was a stigmatised, misunderstood young woman who learned to channel her unique gifts into a brilliant career as a scientist, author and groundbreaking animal advocate. Golden Globe-winning actress Claire Danes stars in the story of an unlikely hero to America's cattle industry, and to autistic people everywhere: Temple Grandin, this month's HBO Films premiere.

TUESDAY (May 25)

Series - Indian Idol 5 on Sony Entertainment Television at 6.30pm.

One of India's biggest talent shows, Indian Idol is running in its fifth season. The show is anchored by Abhijeet Sawant, winner of Indian Idol 1 and Prajakta Shukre, one of the top 5 of Indian Idol 1. The judging panel includes three of the biggest names in the Indian music industry - directors Anu Malik and Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan, singer.
