Durrat Marina has signed an agreement with Bahrain-based Beaucraft under which it will get the consultancy and advisory services it requires to develop the marina - a part of its mixed-use Durrat Marina development project.
The agreement will not only consider the marine aspects of the marina but also co-ordinate and offer consultancy and advisory services to develop the facilities such as a yacht club and maintenance centre, as well as the retail, food and beverage and the commercial area within the project.
Waleed Saffy, CEO of Durrat Marina, said: "Durrat Marina is taking all steps to ensure it provides the best solutions and most convenient environment to our clients who will own homes and apartments in this prestigious waterfront development. The signing of this agreement is just one further step on the way.
"The marina is an important part of the project and though it is large enough to engulf 60m-long mega yachts, we want to make sure it has all the appropriate facilities to cater for the visitors and users needs as well as Durrat Marina residents."
Hazem Janahi, Beaucraft's chairman, added: "A marina is not only a harbour but also a total leisure experience. We are proud to offer our services to Durrat Marina as one of our most important clients in the Middle East region and look forward to providing further success to this magnificent project."
Durrat Marina, located in the southern region of the kingdom, is part of the prestigious Durrat Al Bahrain master development, an investment residential and recreational project that will host around 4,000 villas and apartments, commercial and retail areas, with residential towers right adjacent to the water fronts and a marina for 500 yachts.
