Fantastic 3D future for viewers

Electronics giant Panasonic has launched its latest range of plasma televisions - including a full HD 3D 50-inch high-tech offering - at a presentation at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

The BD1,600 top-of-the-range TV set with accompanying special glasses, is now available in a special package which includes two 3D animation movies and a free Blu-ray player for a limited period from distributors Al Futtaim & Sons in Seef.

The company also unveiled its 2010 line of VIERA Plasma High Definition and LCD TVs. Dharmesh Bhatia, country manager, Al Futtaim & Sons said: "The tech-savvy Bahraini consumer will be delighted with Panasonic's latest state-of-the-art 3D range of products.

"Now, with Full HD 3D technology, we have a device that delivers an immersive viewing experience and literally moves television viewing into the next dimension."

Panasonic's demonstrated its 'eco' commitment of minimising the impact of its products on the environment by revealing its new 3D plasma panels were designed to offer more than 30 years of TV viewing. To avoid toxic waste no models contain mercury or lead.
