The management and staff of Hidd Power Corporation (HPC), desalination and power plant operators, were this week celebrating a record summer performance.
It supplied 62 per cent of the total drinking water and 35 per cent of the total electricity consumed by Bahrain's residents during June and September.
Executive managing director David Hadfield said that the plant produced enough water to fill a typical water park at least twice, and enough electricity to run more than 500,000 air conditioners each day.
