A CHARITY shoot out at the DHL Golf Day has raised BD230 in aid of the Think Pink Bahrain charity, further boosting the BD 10, 100 raised at the Royal Golf Club's recent Think Pink Ladies and Gents Charity Golf Days.
Each participant in the DHL Golf Day donated BD5 to enter the side contest on the club's Montgomerie championship course's second hole. The names of those whose ball landed and stayed on the green were entered into a draw to win 30 per cent of the total money in the prize pot. The winner, Don O'Shaughnessy, kindly donated his winnings back to the charity whose aim is to raise awareness of breast cancer amongst women in Bahrain.
