WEDNESDAY (Dec 22) Series - True Blood: Season 3 - Season Finale on America Plus at 10pm

Film - Where The Wild Things Are on Super Movies at 9pm

Nine-year-old Max runs away from home and sails across the sea to become king of the land 'Where the Wild Things Are'. King Max rules a wondrous realm of gigantic fuzzy monsters - but being king may not be as carefree as it looks. Filmmaker Spike Jonze directs a magical, visually astonishing film version of Maurice Sendak's celebrated children's classic, starring a cast of screen veterans and young talent.

Series - Downtown Abbey: Season 1 at 6pm

Set in an Edwardian country house in 1912, Downton Abbey portrays the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them. Some of them are loyal to the family, but others are moving through, on the lookout for new opportunities, love or adventure. The difference being that they know so many of the secrets of the family, while the family knows so few of theirs.

Film - Four Christmases on Showmovies at 6pm

Brad and Kate have been together for three years, in love, having fun, doing all sorts of things together with no intention of marriage or children. Christmas morning, they're on their way to Fiji, having told their two sets of divorced parents that they're off to do charity work. Through a fluke, they have no choice but to visit each of their four idiosyncratic parents. As the day progresses, Brad and Kate remember growing up and each learns more about the other's secret family life.

Three frinds sharing a flat in Scotland decide to take on another flatmate to help share the rent. Journalist Alex, David, an accountant, and Juliet, a doctor, interview lots of people and eventually agree on one prospective tenant, Hugo. He moves in, locks his door, and is not seen again. After a couple of days the three become curious and break in to his room to find that he has died from a drug overdose. They also discover that he has a very large amount of cash hidden in a suitcase.\\

MONDAY (Dec 27)

Film - Dark City on Fox Movies at 11pm

A police officer tries to help an amnesiac fugitive, suspected of being a serial killer, to discover the truth about his past. He finds that his memories and his reality as he knows it are, in fact, artificial creations controlled by a fiendish underworld of ominous beings know as The Strangers.

TUESDAY (Dec 28)

Film - Mrs Brown on Cinema City at 9pm

While still in mourning over the death of her beloved Prince Albert, Queen Victoria meets Mr Brown, a member of her household staff who thinks the time has come for her to start living a normal life. He soon gains the Queen's favour and friendship and his authority and status in the household are soon on the rise. This creates concerns among the Queen's many advisers.
