AWALI Golf Club members were ready for the Bahrain Airport Black Ball Challenge last Friday.
The team event, where each member of the team was required to play a hole using the 'Black Ball' was a huge success. The winning team consisting of: Yeon Gul Kim, Ali Musbah and Graham Tole managed to score 43 points and were presented with the BAS Black Ball Shield.
The individual stableford competition was won by Ali Musbah also with a score of 43 points. Ali ,who has a handicap of 3 demonstrated a great amount of skill on the day and was a very popular winner.
The 48th Bahrain Open Golf Championship will be played at Awali Golf Club on March 18 and 19. The closing date for entries is Friday, March 11. For details contact Julie Frosdick by emailing opensecretary@awaligolfclub.com
