GAC Bahrain were the plate runners-up at the inaugural Inter-GAC Cricket tournament held in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
Eight teams from the various GAC Middle East offices gathered at the picturesque Sharjah Cricket Council grounds to participate in the tournament organised by GML (GAC Marine Logistics Inc).
"We were extremely delighted with our performance in the first tournament of this kind. Fifteen players from Bahrain travelled to Ajman for this tournament which was a good opportunity to network with our fellow colleagues in the region. We are hopeful that this will become an annual event," said Shamit Joseph, GAC Bahrain's administration manager, who accompanied the team.
