Series – Mildred Pierce on OSN First at 9pm
Kate Winslet stars in the title role of this HBO mini-series presentation along with Guy Pearce, Evan Rachel Wood and Melissa Leo. Directed by Todd Haynes from a script by Haynes and Jon Raymond based on the story by James M Cain from his novel of the same name, it tells the epic story of a proud single mother struggling to earn her daughter’s love during the Great Depression in middle-class Los Angeles.

Film – How to Train your Dragon on OSN Cinema at 9pm
Young Viking Hiccup wants to join his town’s fight against the dragons that continually raid their town. However, his father and village leader, Stoik the Vast, will not allow his clumsy but inventive son to do so. Regardless, Hiccup ventures out into battle and downs a mysterious Night Fury dragon with his invention, but can’t bring himself to kill it. Instead, Hiccup and the dragon begin a friendship that would open up both their worlds.

Film – Robin Hood on OSN Movies HD at 8pm
Following King Richard’s death in France, archer Robin Longstride, along with Will Scarlett, Alan-a-Dale and Little John, return to England. They encounter the dying Robert of Locksley, whose party was ambushed by treacherous Godfrey. Robin promises the dying knight he will return his sword to his father Walter in Nottingham. He impersonates Walter and meets his wife Marian. Hoping to stir baronial opposition to weak King John, Godfrey worms his way into the king’s service as Earl Marshal.

Film – Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue on Disney Junior at 11.35am
Bursting with excitement and imagination, the film is magical entertainment for the whole family. You might even learn to fly. Disney fairy Tinker Bell is most well known as the friend and ally of Peter Pan, but in this adventure, we meet the pixie long before she knew Wendy or the Lost Boys. While summering in England, Tinker Bell meets her very first human, a little girl who believes in fairies, and who very much needs a friend. Tink may be small, but she soon learns that her big heart can help someone many times her size.

Documentary – Chris Humfrey’s Wildlife on Animal Planet at 4.30pm
Meet Chris Humfrey, a zoologist who lives with his young family and their huge dog in an idyllic bush haven in Victoria, Australia. Follow Chris as he shares this extraordinary life and his amazing knowledge of Australia’s fauna in this animal-crazy series that captures the drama, the danger, the animal facts and the sheer exhilaration of Chris Humfreys Wildlife. Each day, a new story begins at the zoo, and there is always something new to learn – even for Chris!

Series – The Closer on OSN First at 8pm
Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson runs the Priority Homicide Division of the LAPD in an unorthodox style. Her innate ability to read people and obtain confessions helps her and her team solve the city’s toughest, most sensitive cases. As the new season opens, the squad is moving into its new high-tech digs. But it’s not long before they’re wishing they could be back in their old space, where a plain white board nailed to the wall was more practical than the troublesome sliding screens in their new murder room.
