Film – Shrek Forever After on OSN Cinema at 9pm There used to be a time when the villagers would run in terror at the mere mention of the Shrek’s name, but these days the big green ogre is married to princess Fiona and raising triplets. Maintaining a fierce public persona is no simple task when you’re juggling infants, so when Shrek realises that nobody is afraid of him anymore he recruits mischief-maker Rumpelstiltskin to restore his once-mighty roar. Unfortunately for Shrek, that plan hits an unexpected hitch.

As a result of the ordeal, Jonah’s face is disfigured but it’s not all bad for Jonah, because he can now talk with the dead. After staging his own death, Turnbull, with a group of rebel stalwarts, hatches a plan to bring the Union to its knees.

Film – The Last Samurai on MBC 2 at 7pm After centuries of relying on hired samurai for national defence, the Japanese monarchy has decided to do away with the warriors in favour of a more contemporary military. Nathan Algren, a veteran of the US civil war is hired by the Emperor Meiji to train an army capable of wiping out the samurai. But when Algren is captured by the samurai and taught about their history and way of life he dosen’t know which side to be on.
Film – Proof Of Life on MBC 2 at 9pm Peter Bowman and his wife Alice have relocated to a Latin American nation called Tecala. He is hired to build a dam to bring power to the developing nation but a radical Marxist faction is gearing up for political revolution. The group uses kidnapping as a way to raise capital, and Peter is chosen as its next target. When he is ambushed on his way to work, his firm brings in Terry Thorn, a former Australian intelligence operative who now works as a private negotiator.
