Whisperer

It’s been ages since the Whisperer was last tasked with transporting the kids to school and there appeared to be something different about the drop-off point this term.

As usual the car park was packed with vehicles along with the nearby roads and adjoining waste land but one thing was missing ... the bright, barmy-looking minivan which was always full of personality with colourful flowers proudly painted on its side.

It belonged to a large family boasting six children and was ideal for running them and their friends around. Apparently the paint job was carried out to brighten up the ugly vehicle and make it look cheerful.

However, the driver was called over and warned to remove the flamboyant artwork by a traffic officer who felt it could distract other drivers.

No doubt he must share offices close to the boring brigade who insist that houses remain dreary looking.
