A GROUP of 50 Bahraini students in their last two years of school are being given the chance to take part in a programme to boost their leadership skills.
The Leadership Bridge Programme is being organised by Young Arab Leaders (YAL) Bahrain in association with Triple Bottom Line Associates Consultancy (3BL).
The three-day interactive programme, which starts on October 20, aims to highlight team building, creative thinking, leadership, and emphasise ethical leadership through positive social action.
Amin Al Arrayed, general manager of First Bahrain and YAL member, said: "The youth of today will be the leaders of tomorrow, and it is important for us to establish the appropriate platform to help nurture their leadership skills.
"We wanted to target a previously under-targeted segment through the LBP, which will strive to bridge the gap between high school and university to empower decision making during that phase. As a partner in this initiative, I am glad to extend my support and expertise and I look forward to witnessing the fruitful outcomes of the programme."
