Batelco has announced its support for His Majesty King Hamad’s 4th Golf Trophy, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association (BGA), which will take place at The Royal Golf Club, Riffa, on November 24-26.
BGA has invited more than 100 players from Bahrain, GCC, Asia, Europe and South Africa to participate in the annual event.
“We extend our thanks to His Majesty for this initiative to promote golf in the kingdom and are delighted to help contribute to the success of the event,” said Batelco Group general manager media relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
“This sponsorship is an inseparable part of Batelco’s sponsorship and donation programme designed to support a wide range of events in Bahrain and promote the kingdom’s name overseas.”
“The event serves to promote Bahrain as a sporting and tourism destination with facilities that compare to the best the world has to offer,” said BGA second deputy president Brigadier Ali Saqor Al Noaimi.
