The seventh annual Think Pink Bahrain Ladies Charity Golf Day was a huge success once again this year, raising more than BD8,000 for the cause.
Experienced lady golfers competed in an 18-hole Texas Scramble competition on the Royal Golf Club’s Montgomerie championship course while ladies with higher handicaps played in a 9-hole scramble on the par 3 Wee Monty course.
Lady Captain Debbie Lane led her team to victory on the championship course with a net score of 62.5 beating the team of Pauline Jeakings, Jane De Voest, Karin Lutz and Dena Wales into second place with a score of 63.1 net.
The winners on the Wee Monty course were Hilary Prescott, Cassandra Winton, Lucy Harrison Mirfield and Kim Kincaid with a great net score of 30.
