WOOLWICH Arsenal hammered Royal Arsenal 10-5 with a dazzling display of football finesse.

Woolwich striker Rama Salem, who bagged four goals, said: ìI felt that this game created a very strong bond within our team.

"Our communication and teamwork excelled as each minute went by and I’m very proud of the result."

Sweeper Alaa Al Alwai and forward Reem Al Qassab both notched hat-tricks in the game and their teammate, forward Dalal Abdulrahim bagged a brace.

Midfielders Nicole Moir  and Phoebe Licence scored two each and forward Hayley Kunde notched one for Royal Arsenal in reply.

The U16 Bahrain National team was also involved in an entertaining game, defeating Dial Square 4-2 with forward Rose Fayez scoring all the side’s goals.

Table toppers St Christopher’s Senior’s and Joga Bonito went head-to-head in a close encounter, sharing the points and four goals between them.

Rookie team RCSI added another win to their roster after sealing a 3-0 victory against Eastern Flames.

On Monday evening, Dial Square faced Woolwich Arsenal, the U16 Bahrain went up against St Christopher’s Senior’s, Eastern Flames challenged Joga Bonito and RCSI played Royal Arsenal.
