The Shaolin Temple Performance Group is set to perform at the Cultural Hall tonight and tomorrow at 8pm as part of Bahrain’s Spring of Culture. The group has succeeded in spreading Shaolin Kung Fu culture around the world. Entrance is free.

Punchline Media’s official launch party will feature Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo and Yves Larock, the producer of smash hit Rise Up, at Coral Bay. The doors will open at 7pm. Punchline will also be hosting an array of international DJs for a Summer Vibes event on April 20 also at Coral Bay to celebrate the return of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Al Riwaq Art Space and Block 338 community presents ALWAN 338 – part of a series of events reflecting the area’s unique culture. The programme will feature contemporary art, music, film, workshops and culinary delights as well as weekly youth exhibitions. The ‘Bohemia’ building will be used as an exhibition space and stage area. The event will run until March 31, then again on April 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21. It starts from 7pm to 10pm on Thursday and Friday and from 11am to 6pm on Saturday. The event is free.

British DJ and producer Rebecca Vasmant from the Ministry of Sound music label will hit the decks for the first time at Coral Bay for the one-night Housexy event. Families are invited to enjoy the annual ‘Easter Picnic in the Park’ at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar.
