Comedian Russell Brand is set to guest star on the upcoming season of the hit US show, Two and a Half Men.
The 37-year-old was rumoured to be at the CBS studio for an interview when he reportedly ended up wandering around after the discussion and accidentally ran into Ashton Kutcher, who plays Walden Schmidt in the series. Kutcher asked him to come to the set of the show as the cast were in the process of filming a restaurant scene he would be perfect for.
Brand was reportedly up for it and quickly got fitted into waiter attire and hit wardrobe and make-up! He seemingly had a great time joking around with Kutcher. However, an insider revealed they tried to outdo each other on set. But all the competition paid off for Brand who may be asked to come back for future episodes of the series.
A source said: “No one would be in the least bit surprised if Ashton asks Russell to make more regular appearances. He thinks Russell is hilarious, and a real natural!”
