Young artists in Bahrain are being invited to enter the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest for the chance of winning a range of prizes.
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has been running the annual contest since 2004 to help children develop and express their creativity and showcase their artistic talents in drawing the car of their dreams.
For the second year, Ebrahim K Kanoo, the distributors for Toyota in the kingdom, hopes to inspire local young participants and encourage them to have dreams of their own.
Ayman Shehadeh, Toyota and Lexus brand manager at Ebrahim K Kanoo, said: “The main aim of this competition is to challenge the inspiration of children to express their views of their own future. That’s why we’re very excited to expand our promotion of the Dream Car Art Contest this year, and we are encouraging all children in Bahrain to participate for a chance to win great prizes.”
The contest runs until March 20 and there are three age groups – Under 10, 10-12 and 13-15. The drawings can be submitted to the Toyota Showroom in Sitra, Toyota Plaza in Tubli, and Ebrahim K Kanoo Head Office, Marketing and Communication Department in Manama.
The artworks will be judged by a local committee and five winners will be selected from each category to win a range of prizes which include Smart PCs, iPads, iPad minis and shopping vouchers from Bahrain City Centre.
The top three artworks per category will be sent to TMC in Japan to be judged in the global competition. The winners will be invited to Japan to attend an awards ceremony in August 2013.
