NISSAN recently launched the new Sentra model at a ceremony at the marque’s showroom in Sitra.
The launch by YK Almoayyed & Sons, the brand’s distributor in the kingdom, took place in the presence of company officials and members of the media.
Paul Baker, general manager, Nissan said: “The compact sedan segment is the highest volume sales segment in Bahrain, and one in which Nissan is currently the market leader with the Sunny and Tiida models. The Sentra is a unique entry within its class, is a further extension of this strategy which also ups the playing field for the industry as a whole.
“Nissan saw solid sales growth in Bahrain last year, up 44 per cent over the previous year. In 2012 Nissan introduced a range of redesigned models in Bahrain, including the Sunny, Micra, Altima and 370Z. The Sentra extends this range even further, allowing Nissan to meet desires of an increasingly demanding market segment.”
The Japanese marque’s premium compact sedan model is currently on public display at Bahrain City Centre.
The Nissan Sentra, available in 1.6-litre or 1.8-litre configurations, offers drivers the spaciousness and comfort of cars usually found in the larger segment, as well as technology usually associated with much more expensive cars, its makers say.
