Top spot in week two of the current NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club went to the pairing of Matt Boast and James Williamson, who finished with 24 points.
The duo of Murtuz Zamanly and Steve Hinnant took the runners up spot after edging Sanne Smith and Linda Boland into third place on count back after both teams tied on 22 points. Heinz Hurter won both nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16.
Weather conditions were windy and cool but twenty teams still took to the club’s Montgomerie championship course to compete in the ‘Vegas Alliance’ competition; a betterball format played from varying tees.
The evening’s prize presentation took place in the Royal Golf Club’s Members’ Lounge after play and competitors enjoyed some product sampling courtesy of NHSC. Andrew Thomas, NHSC’s senior sales executive was on hand to present the winners with their prizes.
The NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series is open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night for the 9-hole event. Competitors tee off every Monday evening in a 6.30pm shotgun start.
