Murray Brown and Simon Brebner were crowned champions of the Bahrain qualifier of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 66.
Bahraini duo Abdulla Sultan and Shaker Hubail took the runners up spot with nett 67 on countback while Heinz Hurter and IIya Goniker finished third on the same score.
One hundred golfers competed in the pairs betterball medal event on the club’s Montgomerie championship course, with the winners qualifying to take part in the Xerox Grand Final in Dubai later this year.
Nearest the pin side contests were won by Richard Whitby and former Lady Captain Danni Sheppard while Andre Williams and Andy Wieser collected prizes for the two longest drive competitions.
