Yamaha, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of musical instruments, launches the Clavinova Festival 2013 with its new models of digital pianos on display and being played at Bahrain City Centre, near Gate No 2, this weekend.

Music lovers are invited to a carnival of music tomorrow, Friday and Saturday with organisers promising three days of experiencing a myriad of semi-professional and talented amateur musicians performing live.

There will also be a performance by Yamaha pianist Mariia Stoianova. Being an expert in ‘all things piano’, visitors will get the opportunity to pick up some invaluable tips on a spectrum of questions related to the instrument.

A spokesman for Bahrain’s Ambassador Stores, the brand’s exclusive dealer, said: “The new CVP series from Clavinova has something for everybody right from the professional pianist to the novice.

“A wide range of accompaniments ensure that you have a complete backing band when you entertain. Plug in a microphone and you become a one-man band complete with guitars, bass and drums.”

All the models feature USB device connectivity and direct connectivity to the internet. Various finishes and shades of wood are offered.

The Yamaha Clavinova Festival 2013 also promises a load of Yamaha goodies to be won. Visitors can get firsthand experience by playing notes on the Yamaha masterpieces. Everyone who plays on the Clavinova gets a coupon for a free professional grade Yamaha monitor headphone-set worth BD30 on purchase of any Clavinova piano, valid until June 30.
