The Royal Golf Club (RGC) hosted its annual match against Rolling Hills Golf Club of Saudi Arabia which saw the visitors reclaim the title for a second consecutive year with a 13 to 7 victory.
The pairs betterball matchplay tournament took place on the club’s Montgomerie championship course where high winds played havoc with the competitors’ scores.
“We host a lot of guest golfers from Saudi on a regular basis so this annual match is a great way to create new relationships with those from across the bridge,” said RGC’s golf sales & events manager John Wilson.
Rolling Hills Club captain Tim Billa received the trophy on behalf of winners.
