Andy Love won the second Boggi Milano Ramadan PowerPlay event at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 27 points on the par 3 Wee Monty course.
Abdulla Al Yacoob narrowly clinched second place after a count back was needed to separate three competitors who all finished on 25 points. Stephen Hoey had to settle for third.
“This is the largest winning score for this format that I have ever seen,” said John Wilson, the club’s Golf Sales & Events manager. “This series is really creating a buzz among our members and regular guests and has been sold out in its first two weeks. We look forward to more of the same for the remaining three weeks of the series.”
The Boggi Men’s Night Out competitions will tee off at 7pm every Tuesday evening throughout Ramadan at the Royal Golf Club. The competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night for the 9-hole event.
