The pairing of Charles Lyon and Mike Topping produced some fantastic golf to claim this week’s Nandos Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club (RGC).
The pair’s score of 34.4 nett gave them a comfortable win in the tricky ‘St. Andrews Foursomes’ format. Lyon was actually a last minute addition to the draw but will no doubt feature again as the pair strive for another win.
The experienced pairing of Tony Bridgens and Simon Brebner took second place with a solid 35.2 nett while Mike Williams and Yaseen Le Falher finished third on 35.4 nett. Fourth place went to Mohammed Al Sayed and Ian McKie and the resulting two points earned has propelled them to the top of the order of merit with only one event remaining in the series.
RGC’s golf operations manager Cormac Flannery presented the prizes on behalf of Nandos Restaurants.
