Friends of Zayani secured a 5-2 victory over runners-up Gunners 2 on their way to winning the Bahrain Peace One Day Football League.
More than 200 players competed in the event hosted at Soccer City in Janabiya with proceeds from the entrance fees being donated to the Regional Institute of Autism (RIA).
“The event was fabulous and the competition between the teams was intense,” said RIA founder Christine Gordon.
The event was sponsored by Jasmis, Al Hilal Hospital and Talking Pictures and organised by Consutnivs, in co-ordination with Amoor Advertising.
