The Whisperer appreciates that the recent downpour brought flooding misery to some, and treacherous driving conditions to the rest of us, but, on the bright side it did create, what locals are describing as, Lake Janabiya.
A vast piece of wasteland opposite the camel farm has been beautified by the resting water and all that has been lacking are visiting flocks of migrating birds, and children floating sail boats in the breeze.
Quite idyllic, just a shame soon it will have evaporated into a distant memory.
