The pairing of Rajinder Sachdeva and Naeem Khan won the BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf competition at the Royal Golf Club for the second consecutive week with a nett score of 30.3. The win puts the duo at the top of the series leaderboard with 10 points.
Matt Doyle and Petter Nyberg took second place in the ‘3 x 3 Rumble’ competition with a nett score of 30.8 while the pairing of Ali Jassim and Isa Ebrahim came third with 32.1 nett. Youngster Ilya Goniker walked away with both side contest prizes after coming closest to the pin on holes 12 and 16.
The prize presentation took place in the Members’ Lounge and the club’s tournament co-ordinator Jason Mejia presented the prizes on behalf of BMMI.
The BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series is open to non-members at a cost of just BD20 per night for the 9-hole event. The competition tees off every Monday evening with a 6:30pm shotgun start.
