Baraa Abdulla, a training technician at The Supreme Council of the Environment has won a weight loss competition.
The recently-concluded Back in Shape Competition, was a 10-week fat loss competition organised by the DreamBody Centre, a 23-minute weight loss and body transformation centre, based at Bahrain Mall.
“The competition started back in September, and the way it worked was that we placed a dinar in a transparent box every time a DreamBody Centre member lost an inch of body fat, and whoever lost the most inches of fat would win the box full of cash,” said Suhail Algosaibi, founder of the DreamBody Centre. “Actually, they would win half the cash, and the other half would be given to a charity of the winner’s choice.
“We are delighted with the results that members have achieved! They took the competition very seriously and a total of over 542 inches of fat were lost during the 10-week period from mid-September to the end of November, meaning that there was BD542 up for grabs.”
Mr Abdulla lost an amazing 24 inches of fat, and 15kg of weight during the competition. “We are very proud of him!” added Mr Algosaibi
The new slim look Mr Abdulla admitted: “I was so surprised when I got the call telling me I’d won. I just couldn’t believe it! I’d like to thank the DreamBody Centre team for helping me lose all the weight and for their ongoing support and encouragement. I’m so happy! ”
Mr Abdulla plans to make a charitable donation to aid those caught up in the conflict in Syria.
The DreamBody Centre is Bahrain’s only 23-minute weight loss and body transformation centre, which works by doing interval training on unique hydraulic circuit equipment.
