While thumbing through the last edition of GulfWeekly, I was struck by the article ‘Reaching out!’. I think it’s wonderful to see people taking the time to make an effort for children with special needs and their families.
So many people incorrectly think that it’s just children who are born different that have to deal with the ramifications of their situation. In fact, it affects the whole family. I just want to say a huge thank you to the Special Families Support team for all their efforts.

I was amazed with the EatingOut section in last week’s issue. I can’t believe that anyone can wrap up some rice and lentils in a lettuce leaf and have the nerve to call it a burger! It’s a healthy option for sure … but it’s definitely not a burger.

I recently moved to Bahrain and am already in love with the island. I found a great apartment in a quiet area.
I love my work environment and the people in Bahrain in general are so friendly. The only thing I cannot seem to make up my mind about is what car I should buy.
I am afraid I fit that female stereotype. If you asked me what car I drive, I would most probably say red. There are so many showrooms and brands in Bahrain that I really don’t know what to go for. That’s why I really appreciate the MotoringWeekly page.
I’m always flipping through Charlie Holding’s test drive articles to get a better idea of what suits me. Also, the page features all the latest vehicles that have been launched as well as offers. Keep it up GulfWeekly. I’m narrowing it down thanks to you!
