Causing wilful damage in an inebriated state

To continue my series of beyond idiotic things that teenagers have been caught doing, we go to Queensland, Australia, where a 17-year-old has been charged with two counts of wilful damage, one count of armed robbery, one count of public nuisance, one count of going armed to cause fear, and one count of possessing suspected stolen property.

Those are a lot of charges. So what did he do? Well, armed with a chainsaw in his hands and a flowerpot upon his head he threatened staff at a local 7-Eleven store and attempted to make them give him all the money in the cash register.

However, he failed dismally at this and made his escape only having stolen one fizzy drink. Although before making his graceful exit, still camouflaged in a flower pot, he made sure to flash the poor terrified cashiers behind the till.

Police later found the intoxicated boy casually meandering down a nearby road.
