Majid Al Zayed and Steve Hill were the winners in the third match of the BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 33.7, putting them in joint second place in the overall order of merit.
 
Kevin Ross and Paul Forrie were runners-up in week three of the popular six-week series with a nett score of 33.8 and Edward Tiearney and Sam Morrison came third on 34.4 nett.

Meanwhile, Murray Brown won a prize for coming closest to the pin on the 12th hole and Julie Dixon was closest on hole 16.

Club Captain Stephen Wagstaff and playing partner David Wales are holding on to the top spot in the overall BMMI Order of Merit with six points, just one point ahead of four other pairings, and with three more competitions to go, there’s still everything to play for.

More than 25 golfers competed in the event which was played in the St Andrew’s Foursomes format. The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.

The series takes place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening. The 9-hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register, contact the club’s golf events department on email golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com.
