The 2015 model Nissan Sunny has been launched across the Middle East. The new sedan will be available from all Nissan dealerships across the region from Friday.
The popular sedan has been revamped both inside and out and boasts distinctive styling and Nissan Connect, which uses hands-free technology, your smartphone, and your Nissan display screen to help you stay in touch with the outside world from inside your vehicle.
The model has a new front end with bigger grille, boomerang-shaped headlamps and a new bumper. New fog lamps with chrome finishers in the grille surround the front bumper and lower lip to give the car a stylish new identity.
The interior features an enhanced dashboard with piano black finish centre console, Bluetooth-enabled audio, a new steering wheel with integrated audio and telephone controls.
Samir Cherfan, managing director Nissan Middle East, said: “The Middle East is a key market for Nissan and the Nissan Sunny in particular is one of our top selling models in the region and contributes to around 15 per cent of our total sales. We expect this model to make a notable impact on our growth, doubling its sales volumes by 2016.
“While delivering on its recognised class-leading strengths, the latest model boasts enhanced technology with a new styling taking its cues from Nissan latest design direction.”
Antilock braking system, and electronic brake distribution are standard across the Sunny range.
Under the bonnet is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that includes four spec variants with prices starting at BD4,670. For details, visit the Nissan showroom or call 17732732.
