Married couples and families dominated the fifth match of the BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club but it was the pairing of Murtuz Zamanly and Wayne Giles who clinched first prize with a nett score of 32.75.
Husband and wife David and Dena Wales were runners-up with 32.87 nett and the father and son duo of Ross and Justin Clewley came third with 33.25 nett. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Ed Tiearney and Rob Lane respectively.
Previous match winners, Kevin Ross and Paul Forrie, still hold the lead at the top of the series order of merit but with just one point separating the top three pairings, the series title could still go to anyone with just one week left to play.
The penultimate event of the series was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.
